Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
I have made these numerous times since I came across the recipe a couple of years ago. They are a huge hit with family and friends. I add orange extract to the glaze for a little extra sweetness. Delicious!

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
This is the best soup I have ever made! I did give 4 stars because I always add onions, carrots, and corn (and sometimes celery and peas) - I just think it needs veggies! The first time I made it, I followed the recipe exactly and it was wonderful. Since then, I have used 1/2 & 1/2 or 1% instead of the heavy cream, heavily seasoned my chicken before adding it (paprika, s&p, lemon pepper, etc) and use 2 boxes of the rice. Wonderful recipe, and there are so many things you can add to make it fit to your taste perfectly. Thank you!

Black Magic Cake

Seriously the best cake I have ever made. Delicious, rich chocolate flavor, perfect for birthdays, holidays, any occasion! I use a chocolate fudge buttercream or a simple store-bought cream cheese frosting - yum! Thanks!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
Delicious! I doubled the recipe but only used 2 1/2 cups of chocolate chips, and used salted sweet cream butter because it was what I had on hand. I used the medium Pampered Chef scoop and baked for 13 minutes. Perfect! Thanks for the recipe!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2013
Very simple, quick, and tasty. My husband and teenage stepson ate every last bite (which gave me no leftovers for lunch - bummer!). I did use more garlic than called for (3-4 tsp) because we love garlic. I also added about a tsp of Sriracha to the oil/garlic mix, because we love spicy, too - next time (and there WILL be one) I will use even more. The "shake-and-bake" method did work the best for coating the chicken. I had shredded parm, so it didn't really stick to the chicken, but I sprinkled it on top and it made a delicious crust. I used Italian bread crumbs and added paprika. Baked at 400 for 20-25 minutes and it was crispy outside and tender inside. I paired this with fresh roasted green beans sprinked with lemon juice and sea salt, and whole wheat pasta dressed with a little butter and sun-dried tomato pesto. YUM! Thanks for sharing a delicious, easy main dish!

Honey Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2012
Easy, simple, delicious. I omit the poppy seeds and add a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg. Good with any fruit. Can be a little runny depending on the type of fruit you use.
