Chocolate Covered Strawberries

These were so easy to make...I have a burner on my gas stove that has incredibly low heat which is perfect for melting chocolate, so I used that and had no problems at all. I got creative in the drying part..didn't have styrofoam and didn't want to lay them down, so I put them on the oven rack (cold oven..lol..) stem side down so the stem hung below and the strawberry itself rested on the rack with the chocolate side up...left them there until they dried and then refrigerated them...they came out perfecto!!!!

Breakfast In A Glass

I make this almost every morning for breakfast...I use flavored yogurt, vanilla, strawberry banana, and raspberry are my favs..half a cup of skim milk......a handful of fresh pineapple...a handful of frozen raspberries along with the frozen strawberries and the banana....I pour it in a glass and off to work I go...

Blue Cheese Crusted Filet Mignon with Port Wine Sauce

I just fixed this for dinner this evening...my husband gave it 10 stars...The Port wine Sauce alone was to die for. I followed the recipe almost exactly, except that I cooked bacon wrapped filets on the grill...served it with steamed asparagus, roasted garlic smashed potatoes and a bottle of Twisted Oak Syrah....incredible meal!!! My husband is in the kitchen doing the dishes as I'm typing this and he's still oooohing and aaaahing over his dinner... Thanks for the awesome recipe!!!!
