Cranberry Pork Roast

Excellent roast! I've made it several times and always get asked for the recipe. Even impressed my mother-in-law! So easy since it's in the crockpot and the gravy tastes great over mashed potatoes.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

Outstanding! These taste awesome and are very addicting! I agree with others that next time I'll add a bit more chocolate (maybe 1 1/2 cups) on top to give it a bit more chocolate flavour. But otherwise they taste just like the peanut butter cups.

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

AWESOME!!! Made it tonight but be aware that it makes a lot. Tastes great and if you wanted to change it a bit you could substitute garlic shrimp for the chicken. Thanks Emily for the great recipe!

Pralines, Coffee and Cream Cake

I brought this to my sister's b-day party and EVERYONE loved it. I only got a small piece! The only change I'd make is to make less of the topping ... there was way too much, although we did use it up by putting extra dollops of topping on each piece :) I've been requested to make it again.

Shepherd's Pie

I really didn't like this dish. It was bland and had too much creamed soup in it. I will definitely go back to my old Shepherd's Pie recipe.

Bermuda Spinach Salad

This was a really good salad. Made it for a group and was asked for the recipe by a few people. I didn't use 2lbs of spinach (that would make a tonne!!). I just used one package that weighed about 1/2 lb. I also added a lot more mushrooms. The dressing and the bacon are what make this salad great!

Heavenly Potatoes and Ham

First of all there wasn't enough ham by far and the onions were very crunchy. I only used about 2lbs of potatoes and even with that decrease there wasn't enough ham. I have a similar recipe using ricotta cheese and it also includes broccoli so at least it's a more balanced, and tasty meal. I won't make this again.

Cookie in a Jar

In a word: Yuck! I'm experienced with baking and these were gross! What's with the water?? It just evaporates in the oven and makes the cookies blend together into one big, extremely thin cookie on the cookie sheet. The recipe is also too small for a 1qt jar so if the jar gets moved everything gets mixed up so you don't have the sandart effect. I'm just lucky I tried them before I gave them out. The "Cranberry Hootycreeks" are much better to give out as gifts.

Pretty good recipe. Doesn't make a lot of cookies but they're tasty! I divided the white chocolate chip amount in half and added chocolate chips as well.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

The chicken in this dish was good but the sauce was really blaw and runny. I even added some cornstarch and water but it didn't help thicken it up. Won't be making it again.

Creamy Orange Cake

I served this cake at my husband's 30th birthday party. After the first mouthful I was apologizing to my guests. I followed the recipe exactly. This was sickeningly sweet. I threw the rest of it out. I love creamsicles but this did not do them justice. Luckily I also had a chocolate cake made!
