Zesty Quinoa Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2014
Ration of liquid seemed better at 1 3/4 cup water to Quinoa. I used chicken broth but it would be great either way. Wow: even healthy for you.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2014
Too much is right - like eating a candy bar. A little too moist for my liking so I'll halve the oil next time and cut the Chocho chips.

Bread Machine Pumpernickel Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2013
Great dark bread. Do NOT use the quick cycle on bread machine like another person suggested. Mine was either too moist or not done enough. I use 1/4 cup extra of water to dissolve molasis.

Johnsonville Italian Meatballs

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2012
Even with 1/2 Grd beef and 1/2 sausage this is messy to work with. Might be easier with lessor proportion of sausage. I browned it before baking. They were tasty though. Next I'll try grd Pork to save on fat.

Needs way more bulgar, otherwise the taste is great. Diced seeded cucumber also is OK to add.

Used other readers ideas. Whole wheat for All Purpose flour, milk and 1/2 tsp lemon juice for buttermilk, applesauce for oil. Could not be better. Time, 22 min for 6 large muffins.
