First I must say that I am amazingly blessed with the beauty of my family.

Although I had to work the first part of the morning due to the recent schedule changes with my job... LOOOOONG story...

But aside from that horror... Easter Sunday was GREAT... My menu
Slow Roasted Pork Butt Cooked it for 12 hours on 200 and it was falling off the bone
Cornbread Dressing with Gravy and Cranberry Sauce ( the hubster made an attempt at this and needless to say this did not make it to the table)lol but I did appreciate his efforts
Mac and Cheese
Field Peas
Seasoned Greens
Sweet Potatoes
and Corn Bread Muffins

Now what we wound up having is only the pork roast, the mac and cheese and the sweet potatoes (baked instead of the yams I had planned)

He even baked a cake that was all in crumbles but it was our sweet for the meal....

LOL all in all he made a gallant effort and we did at least have a meal of sorts..and I TRULY appreciated the fact that the guys intended to have it all done for me when I got in... just next holiday we will pre-cook most of all the meal like I normally would have....

Gotta Love My Guys....

A truly supportive family there. My job at a hospital means we are open 24/7. Work my share of weekends and holidays.Sometimes working for sick co-workers or unfilled holes in the schedule. Great that the guys in our lives step up when we need them.
