Basil Chicken and Pasta
I made this recipe tonight...started at 9:15 and by 9:50 I was sitting down and how quick this recipe is! I made my own adjustments to it, mainly that I used shredded gruyere cheese instead of parmesan cheese and seasoned with salt and pepper to my liking....very good recipe!

Chicken Bouillon Rice
I made this but in a much smaller portion since it was just me...I used the directions on the back of the rice bag (I used long grain rice), which suggests adding butter or margarine and salt...I also added black pepper to mine...a nice variation to plain old white rice...I will definitely make this again.

Alfredo Sauce
I have tried several different alfredo sauce recipes and I also found that parmesan cheese doesn't melt very sauce always seemed to come out grainy...I took your and some other readers' advice about using Gruyere cheese...I shredded it fresh...and I have never gotten a sauce as smooth and creamy! I also added an egg yolk and used garlic salt instead of fresh garlic, and also added some black pepper (based on some other alfredo recipes I've seen). The sauce was perfect!!!! Thanks for the suggestion on the Gruyere cheese! It's definitely the way to go!!!!
