Grilled Salmon Kyoto

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
This recipe was very good. I live in Alaska and am always trying to find new ways to cook all the salmon we catch during the summer. I found that next time I would cook it on a slightly lower temperature on my grill just cuz it burned the skin of the salmon. Also, maybe next time I will place foil down first because the salmon stuck to the grate. I saw someones comment that it was fishy...salmon often is haha. I found this recipe to dull the fishy taste. Thanks again ^_^

Outrageous Caesar Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2009
This recipe was good. My husband and I thought it was too salty. Next time I think we will try "experimenting" to find our own likings. Thankyou

Meatball Sandwich

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2009
This recipe was yummy. I think next time we will add more parmesan. We had to keep the meatballs in longer than the time on the recipe. We also made 24 meat balls instead of 12 because the size seemed more reasonable. I think we will try it with sausage next time to add more of a kick. Thankyou for the recipe :D

Real Italian Calzones

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
This calzone turns out really nice. The first time I made it I put mozzarella cheese in it (all i had) instead of the cheddar, the second time I stuck with the recipe and it tasted better. Wait till the crust is golden brown, this tastes good! We made a couple of adjustments to the recipe by adding black olives, sausage. I will use this recipe again...I think it would be easy to manipulate the inside contents if you want to make a vegi calzone or greek. The breading is what earns this calzone 5 stars from me! Thankyou

Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2008
These cookies were great. I made mine too thin so they werent chewy, but hard. My husband on the other hand has quite a way with cookies, made them about 1/4 inch thick and with 10 minutes of cooking they are perfect. We used cream cheese icing mixed with food coloring. They are very cute, and yummy too. thankyou

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2008
Yummy! The food tastes good. I hope that in the future we could have some clarification on how thick to slice the eggplant. I sliced mine in 1/2 inch pieces, then realized that they wouldn't cook intime so I then resliced the pieces into 1/4 slices. I don't think we sliced them thin enough still, was a little chewy in some spots. Thankyou for the recipe though, It was good.

Pumpkin Cookies V

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
This recipe works well. So far I have only made the cookies without the frosting (grocery run tommorow). But without the frosting the cookies taste great. I used fresh pumpkin puree instead of canned pumpkin, and I substituted butter for the shortening. I also added 1/4 tsp of nutmeg. Thank you for the Recipe!

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
The pumpkin pie turned out great. We especially liked how thick and full the pie was. It settled very nicely to ending up mushy/runny like other recipes we've tried, perfect slices. One thing I would probably do next time I make this recipe is try to sweeten it more. I aslo would add more cinnamon, but the pie did taste good. Thankyou ^_^

Potato Salmon Patties

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
Patties were yummy. I dont think all the olive oil should be added at once, rather a small amount before you fry each pattie. My first pattie was a little greasy, and the rest got drier as i cooked. Thankyou ^_^

Sara's Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2008
The recipe makes 3 whole pies when doubled. I doubled the recipe, but only put 3 cups of evaporated milk in it and it came out just right for moisture content, it took 7 minutes longer on the top/middle rack and 20 minutes longer on the middle/bottom rack than directed. I used the full amount of cloves, but next time I think I will split that amount in half or just leave it out. The pies come out very well set after cooling about 10 minutes.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
The recipe worked really good for me! It was easy and I was able to go to work and come home to it and eat around 9pm. I rated this recipe with only 4 stars because my meat turned out a little dry...I do think that it was because I used Moose meat instead of beef. It was still good though, and the gravy tasted good on the meat and on the potatoes i made! Thankyou
