Glazed Carrots

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2008
This was a very interesting recipe.... good combination, but I think i prefer just the sweet instead of the combo of that and the ranch.

Chicken and Spinach Ravioli

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2008
it was ok. I nixed the spinach (husband doesn't do veggies!) but the mixture was pretty good. my first attempt at homemade pasta.... it was ok. here are things i would do differently: 1. Roll the pasta out very very thin 2. Make the strips wider (4 inches??) 3. Put less filling on My biggest issue was getting the ravioli to stay sealed.... all my filling came out. Not sure what i did wrong.

Baked Kale Chips

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
yum!! this was my first time trying kale and ever since i saw this recipe i knew i had to try it. I halved the recipe adn only baked it for 6 minutes or so. although these don't equate with potato chips, they're a super yummy way to get your leafy green vegetables! have made them three times in the past week and just bought some more kale today;)

Butter Snow Flakes

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2009
i used my new cookie press with it and it made them way too thick and misshapen... didn't really work at all - all that aside, i didn't even really like the taste. tasted very cream cheesey to me and had a weird aftertaste.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2008
i'm impressed. I have an issue with rolling unevenly, but it didn't matter - a cookie would be thin on one side and thick on the other and it still baked up perfectly!! I have made these about 4 or 5 times and they are delicious!! I have been told they are "the best sugar cookies" people have ever had!!! done with both the colored sugar and milk/powdered sugar/ food coloring icing - both yummy and beautiful!!!

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2008
PERFECT pie crust! Over thanksgiving I made a strawberry rhubarb pie with this, 2 pumpkin pies with the Best Ever Pie Crust from this site and the Pecan V with the Better Homes and Gardens pie crust. All were easy to work with but this one had such delicious FLAVOR!! Make sure to add in water 1 T. at a time - i didn't use all the water it suggested. This will be my go to pie crust from now on!

Big Batch Kris Kringle Cookies

i originally got these cookies off kraftfoods.com and even though i'm a milk/dark chocolate lover, i LOVE these cookies!! I get requests every Christmas and can't wait to make them again this season! Make sure to have the full amount of mix ins... Otherwise towards the end of the dough the cookies will be very flat

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
yum and yum! I too added the sauce to the apples and also added a splash of vanilla and some cinnamon and nutmeg. However the recipe calls for WAY too many apples!! I only used 6 and i still had way too much spilling out of my pie that i had to make a mini pie. Next time i would do 4 or 5
