Savory Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2010
I absolutely love this recipe. It's simple, doesn't take much time and comes out fabulous. I've used American cheese in a pinch and it comes out just as well. Following the recipe exactly yields a great result! Thanks for submitting this!

Basic Baked Spaghetti

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
Nice, easy recipe. Makes a ton of food to feed a good-sized crowd. Would suggest adding a variety of cheeses instead of just cheddar, but it came out great following the recipe as directed. Thanks for sharing!

Angel Lush

I followed the directions except for adding thin slices of strawberries on top of each layer of cool whip. I put this in a trifle bowl for Easter and everyone loved it! Thanks!

Chicken Piccata

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2009
I stayed true to the recipe with the exception of adding capers and sporadically squirting lemon juice onto the chicken as it was frying. It is excellent and very easy! I rarely give 5 stars, but this is truly deserving! Thanks!

15-Minute Herbed Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2009
I browned the chicken in the pan after sprinkling it with onion and garlic powder. Like another reviewer noted, I'm not sure this made much of a difference. Because I worried about the chicken being cooked thoroughly, I cut it into smaller pieces and cooked it some more. I would suggest pounding the meat prior to browning to make sure they're all the same thickness. This recipe was easy to make and a hit. I will definitely make it again and perhaps throw some frozen vegetables into the chicken/soup/milk mix and let it cook on the stove a bit longer. The rice was excellent - I'll use that part of the recipe again and again.

Easy Caramelized Onion Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2009
Before cooking this, my husband informed me that he only like shake n bake pork. Well, he loved this recipe! I liked it as well. I did as previous reviewers suggested and carmelized the onions with some white sugar and a touch of brown sugar as well. I was very happy with how everything turned out. Thanks!

Sweet Mustard Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2009
I did as many previous reviewers suggested and coated the chicken breasts in equal parts of honey and spicy mustard, then dipped the chicken in bread crumbs. I should have repeated this process a few times to make the honey mustard flavor stand out a bit more. I could barely taste it. Next time, I'll also try marinating it a bit and see how that works out. The chicken was very moist. We liked it very much - thanks!

Portuguese Kale Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2009
Excellent soup! I live in SE Mass and this is truly what Portuguese Kale Soup should taste like! I modified the recipe a bit. Instead of beef bones, I used about 4 cups of chicken broth and approximately 5 cups of water with 5 beef bullion cubes. Also, instead of soaking beans overnight, I used two cans of red kidney beans without rinsing (to thicken the broth). I added a teaspoon of minced garlic and 1 chopped medium onion in addition to a bit of onion powder and garlic powder. Great recipe - thanks!

Super Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2009
I used many of the recommendations of other reviewers including adding a whole onion that I took out after cooking. I also used the 2 cans of cream of chicken soup to add to the overall 8 cups of liquid. For vegetables, I added fresh carrots, celery and spinach. Very good recipe and simple too! My husband said it's the best soup he's ever had!
