Baked Teriyaki Chicken
It's a perfect recipe as is, but I made two adjustment to make it perfect for the two of us. I tried this first as is with the minced garlic, I just think my mincing skills are sub par because the little pieces of garlic just seemed to stand out against what otherwise would be a perfect meld of ingredients. I found the sauce to be saltier than I would have liked too. So the next time (and all the times afterward) I've used powdered garlic (1/8th teaspoon) and low sodium soy sauce and it is just the most beautiful silky sticky sauce and incredibly delicious!

Campbell's(R) Slow Cooker Savory Pot Roast
Fantastic! I made this for my hubby's birthday dinner, the only things I did that weren't mentioned in the recipe: 1. Trim the fat from the roast 2. Liberally coat the roast with salt and pepper 3. Sear the roast until golden brown on each side (look literally 7 min altogether on medium-high heat) and that's it, I followed the recipe exactly after that and it turned out moist and tender, the potatoes and carrots were tender as well. I am not a very good cook, and I rarely attempt red meat, but it was a huge hit and super easy, will revisit!

October Apple Pie
Well, I followed this one exactly for my hubby's birthday, and even though I let it stand for over 6 hours, as soon as I cut into it the juices started flowing all over the place, it didn't look pretty, but at least it tasted pretty good. I used granny smith's btw.
