Real Italian Calzones

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2013
Made the dough exactly as written and it turned out perfectly chewy and crusty and crispy...mmmm! For the filling I used sweet peppers (red, yellow, and orange), onions, green onions, diced salami and pepperoni (simply because I had all of it on hand and it needed to be used up). Also threw in some goat cheese along with mozza, jalapeno cheddar and old cheddar. It was delicious! Thank you for sharing. PS: My stepkids said cucumber salad dressing went really well as a dip on the side with the calzones. I didn't try it, but putting it out there if someone else is adventurous enough!

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2013
Made this twice already. It is delicious! The first time I made it, I only had one package of cream cheese, so I improvised and added a little sour cream to add volume. The batter was also a little runny because of that and I ended up creating a marbled pumpkin layer (it wouldn't stay as a separate layer). Nonetheless, this was a FANTASTIC way to enjoy both pumpkin pie and cheesecake at the same time. Love it, thanks for sharing!

Eggs Benedict

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2013
Made this today for my partner and kids, and everybody loved it! I've always been a little hesitant about making hollandaise at home b'se everyone says it is so difficult! These instructions made it very simple for me. In the sauce, I used a little less butter than called for (didn't have enough at hand), but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. Delicious and will definitely make again. Thank you!

Best Ever Banana Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2013
Just made this and everybody loves it! I don't think we will have any leftovers from this batch. I used butter instead of vegetable oil (b'se we didn't have any) and added chocolate chips (personal taste). Will definitely make again. Thanks for sharing!

Potato Salad With Bacon, Olives, and Radishes

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2013
Delicious! I used small potatoes so ended up using about 8 or 9. I also added a little mustard and a sprinkling of sugar. I'm still waiting for the boyfriend's review, but I'm sure I'll be making this again. Thank you for sharing!

Bow Tie Medley

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2011
Followed the recipe exactly and loved it! Next time I make it though I will probably add a little pureed tomato and chicken stock to make it a wee bit more moist. Otherwise, yum!!

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2011
I made these recently when I had overnight company, and boy, were they good! The only changes I made were to add a dash of cinnamon powder and double the recipe... the whole batch disappeared before I knew it! Thanks for posting!

Magic Peanut Butter Middles

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2010
Turned out a little tough for me, but probably because I experimented and used a microwave. I guess cookies simply won't bake correctly in it. 4 stars for the taste. A little too sweet though maybe.
