Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2014
Made this exactly how it says. We LOVED it. The sweetness is perfect! And my husband who hates chicken even raved about how much he loved it. That was very surprising to hear. This is definitely a keeper.

Army SOS Creamed Ground Beef

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2012
I was thinking that this recipe done exactly as listed would be a bit bland. I used only a half pound of beef, and cut the ingredients in half, too except for the bouillon cube. I still used a whole one. I didn't have any Worcestershire sauce but I substituted with a quick sprinkle of soy sauce. I added some garlic salt, diced onions, tiny bit of onion powder, pepper, and dill weed. The whole thing came out marvelous!!! If the original recipe had more spices, this would definitely be a 5 star rating!!

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
Super fabulous! While I was tasting it, I was afraid the sauce was too salty. However, I mixed it in with some cheese ravioli and veggies, and it balanced out very nicely! Well done with this recipe. Definitely a staple for my recipe books.

Italian Style Sausage

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2012
I used Hormel Spicy Pork sausage. It was definitely spicy, and I followed this recipe almost exactly (I used fennel seeds instead of anise.) So flavorful, and so delicious! This will become a staple for my dinner recipes.

Pastry Cream

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2011
This was super delicious, with the perfect amount of sweetness. One tip though: it was very lumpy even after whisking continuously while waiting for it to boil again. After I took it off the stove, I whisked VIGOROUSLY!!! That seemed to do the trick, as it was now smooth and creamy! I didn't know I could make this type of cream filling. I have always searched for one, and now I found the perfect recipe!!

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2011
This was delicious! I never knew how other people get the pepper so soft and edible. Usually my version had a crunchy pepper and it would just go into the trash. But I followed this recipe exactly....It was fabulous! The filling was delicious! I was short on cheese, so bummer for me. But next time I will probably add just a bit more. (I love cheese with a passion.) I will definitely use this recipe next time!

Taco Salad I

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2011
This was amazing!!! I read other reviews and I was worried about it being too liquidity, so I only used a half bottle of french dressing. I added some olives and used Fritos, and it came out perfect! I didn't know what to think about using french dressing, but I did it anyways. Thank you!! This is going in the recipe book.
