Portuguese Fried Bread

Tried this bread last night, was a little skeptical! Added some cayenne pepper to the batter for flavor! Wow was it easy and so good. This is a keeper! Thanks for sharing your recipe.

We had so much fun with these fingers. My son had an idea to put icing in the middle of the cookie and it tasted great! (We found that using a skewer worked well) He also made a witch's nose out of the dough and put a big wart on the end of it, what a kick! We will definitely make these fingers and maybe a couple of nose's for our Halloween Party. Thanks for the recipe.

Shank Beef Soup

Do Not add in the dumplings, I did not care for them. The instructions are vague. But all in all the base soup was good. Would probably make again but not with the dumplings.

Corn and Zucchini Melody

I made this recipe with a variety of summer squash from my garden and my family loves it. But of course anything cooked in bacon grease is always delicious. Thanks for the recipe, I will definitely make this one again and again.

Bacon Roasted Chicken

Amish Macaroni Salad

I made this recipe for a party,my time was short so I had to make it a day in advance. It turned out perfect and there was just the right amount of sauce. Per other reviewers advise I did cut back on the sugar. All my guests and family loved it. I will definitely be making this recipe again. Thanks for the recipe.

Cornish Game Hens with Rice Stuffing

I also took the advise of other reviewers and used more spices. I used celery and cayenne pepper with the rice also paprika on top of the hens and some chicken broth to the bottom of the pan. I always turn the breast down for cooking, this makes the breast juicy and flavorful. Great base recipe, thanks.
