Tilapia Scaloppine

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2011
Very tasty. Company quality. Not difficult, yet nice presentation. My husband yummmed his waythrough dinner. I added 1/4 c lemon juice, the full amount of the other ingredients, but only 2 tiapia fillets. It made a nice amount of sauce to pour over pasta. Will make again

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
Very tasty, but feels like a lot of calories. Heavy on the fat with the may and cheese. One of my husband's favorites

No big deal. Have had much better. Dense, but dry. Won't make again.

Brown Family's Favorite Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2010
TOO Sweet and I like sweets! I followed it exactly as a dry run for Thanksgiving. It came out looking lovely, it cut well, crust was not too brown, etc. But yikes, it's quite the sugar bomb! Next time I will cut back the sugar in the topping. I'll try it again cause it's so pretty and the inside of the pie was good.

French Spring Soup

Reviewed: May 8, 2009
Top notch, just as it is. My husband (2nd time around) used to be married to a gourmet cook, so he's used to terrific dishes. I hate cooking, but I can read and follow a recipe. :) We both loved this soup. A LOT!

Herb Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
I doubled the rub recipe and it was just right for a 2 1/2 lb loin roast. I tripled the recipe for the sauce and it was way too much. But I think doubling the sauce would be good. I did some stir fry frozen veggies and added a little sauce and water and steamed them. And I put a tiny bit of sauce into some white rice and still had a ton left over after we finished the meat. The meat was tender. The sauce is a bit sweet, too sweet. I didn't taste the sage rubas much as I hoped I would. It was the sweet sauce that was the strongest.

Pecan Pie III

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2010
This was like one of those "Way Too Sweet" Pecan Pies you have at someone else's house. It was a little mushy inside when I cut it and the slices didn't present well. After 40 min. in the oven, it was very loose, cooked 3 min more, still too loose, 3 min more, still too loose but removed it. I"m looking for a firmer less sweet pie.

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2008
Boy was "I" disappointed after reading the reviews. I made them per recipe and thought they were horrible. My husband who is very kind, didn't even finish one biscuit. Will NOT EVER make these again.
