Me and my daughter
About this Cook
I am a 26 year old wife and stay at home mom. I have a wonderful husband who is an excellent provider and a beautiful daughter that brings us great joy. The Lord is the center of my life and I am truly blessed.
My cooking tragedies
I have always been a daddy's girl so naturally at the age of 14 (I think) I wanted to do something special for his b-day but didn't have much money. So I made hime dinner. I found a recipe for manicotti and decided to try it. All by myself without any help or supervision I got to work. The recipe called for 1 tsp. of salt to be added to the ricotta cheese. Now, granted I am not the smartest person in the world but certainly not the dumbest... however I must not have been thinking clearly because I added 1 CUP of SALT instead of 1 tsp. I don't even think playdough calls for that much! Anyway I made it and it looked so beautiful! Like out of a magazine! My mom and dad were so excited to dig into it. I had my dad take the first bite and I was eagerly watching his face for approval. He took a big bite and instantly made a sour face! His face was all cross and scrunched up and then he spit it out on his plate! It was way too salty. I felt so bad. So we went out to eat instead!

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies
Very easy to put together in a hurry but tastes like it took a long time. The flavor and texture of these cookies is absolutely yummy. These do not last long at all at my house. Everyone gobbles them up and wants more. I have kept prepared mixture in the fridge to reserve for later baking and after it comes to room temperature it still bakes to perfection. I have made these small and large and it does not spread at all. I especially like to make these when we have a lighter supper. These cookies are rich and satisfies any sweet tooth.

Better than Grandma's Brownies
I will never use a mix again! These were so easy to make. They were absolutely delicious. Rich, chocolatey, moist. I am glad I used eggs from my farm so I didn't have any worries about licking the bowl, spatula, and beaters! Thank you so much for sharing this you made my family really happy!
