About this Cook
I love cooking but have discovered in the last year that I love baking even more! I wish I had more time to do it but going to school and working takes most of my free time right now.
My favorite things to cook
Anything that is quick, easy, and ends with a tasty result.
My favorite family cooking traditions
At Christmas when I was growing up, making fudge was a family affair. We took turns stirring the candy, and then "licking" the kettle.
My cooking tragedies
Trying to make my mom's pizza dough - I can't get it down to a science. Sometimes it comes out great, other times it comes out cooked on the outside and gooey on the inside. I have started using Pillsbury crescent pizza dough, it is good, just not the same.

Baked Potato Salad
This recipe is amazing! I don't like traditional potato salad but love potatoes. I have made this without the bacon too, to please a vegetarian crowd and it's still just as good!

Heavenly White Cake
A very light and moist cake, one of the best from scratch I've made!

Aunt Millie's Broccoli Casserole
My review may not be fair as I changed a few things. I used one cup of cottage cheese and half a cup of cheese whiz. Also, I used cream of onion soup. And I halved the topping. 198 cal. For an eighth, pretty good!
