E-Z Drop Biscuits

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2012
These were super easy and quick. I didn't have any cream of tartar so i just used extra baking powder instead. I served them with gravy and they were delish! I had to cook them for more like 15 minutes.

Mardi Gras King Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
Hmm...I followed this recipe exactly and came out with a dry, overcooked cake. If you're going to make this...try 350 instead of 375. I'd also double the filling ingredients, and roll the dough out in a much larger rectangle to facilitate more filling! Not a 5 star king cake as is...sorry.

Classic Macaroni Salad

I thought there was way too much mustard in this recipe. I used half the amount but it still came out too mustardy. I'd say a tablespoon is more than enough. Next time I'll use a teaspoon and a half. Other than that it was great. Thanks for the recipe.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2010
Made a vegetarian version using chicken style seitan. It was DELISH! I did make some changes. I used cream of mushroom soup. I added poultry seasoning, parsley, cayenne pepper and cajun seasoning. I substituted "no chicken" Better than Bullion for the water and it was amazing. A little salty so next time I'll use half water half bullion. Thanks for the recipe!

Yum! This is truly the best guac I have ever made. My boyfriend HATES guacamole, but he LOVES this recipe. He actually suggests it now as something for us to bring to family get togethers! I like to add lots of extra cayenne. It's so good for you and gives it a really great kick. A perfect anytime snack.
