Grilled Chicken with Rosemary and Bacon

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2011
This was very good! A perfect combination. Rosemary is one of my favourite herbs to cook with. The chicken came out moist and tender with a pleasing flavour. I am not a fan of garlic powder so I made a rub with fresh minced garlic, freshly ground sea salt and pepper. Absolutely delish! I would serve this to impress. Thanks for sharing!

Inside-Out Caramel Apples

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
These were absolutely delish! A big hit at my dinner party. I used Fuji apples instead because they are so sweet and juicy. The best part was they were incredibly easy to make and the presentation is impressive! I had several requests for the recipe. Thanks!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2011
The name says it all! This was amazing. ( The only thing I omitted was the salt, there is enough in the cheeses and italian sausage.) I followed the recipe as written and honestly would not change a thing! This recipe makes a very large lasagna. I brought leftovers into work and everyone loved it. My picky son said this was the best he's ever had! Thanks so much for sharing. This is definately a keeper!

Best Beef Dip Ever

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2011
All I can say is WOW!!! This is soooo good. I used a 4lb. sirloin tip roast,(it was on sale) and followed the recipe as written, just added a tsp. of beef soup base mix to the au jus at the end and it was perfect! I served it on toasted ciabatta bread with homemade garlic butter and it was nothing but the best! You will definately need a 7 quart crock pot for this recipe and you may just want to use a 5 or 6lb roast also because this just turns out so good you will not have any leftovers! Thank you Lori for sharing!!

Soft Pretzels

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
These were very very good! Followed the recipe as written and followed the advice of others to drop in boiling water with baking soda for 15 seconds. They came out perfect! I made these into hamburger buns and got rave reviews. A word of caution... they are very addicting, you can't just stop at one! Thanks for sharing..

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2011
These were quite good. The only change I made was I used 2 chopped green onions instead of the diced onion called for, they were moist and very tasty..This would also make a great meatloaf. Thanks for sharing!

Easiest, Most Delicious Meringue Buttercream

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2013
This really is the only icing recipe you will ever need. I just made this this afternoon and I can't believe how easy it is and how good it tastes. It is not overly sweet, and has a nice buttery taste. It holds it shape well and is very light and fluffy. I have searched for years for a perfect buttercream and now I have found it. I would highly recommend taking the advice of the "most helpful positive review" post(directly under recipe). I followed her advice and it came out perfect the very first time. Definately a keeper for me! Thanks for sharing

Heavenly 'Apple of My Thigh' Dessert

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2013
I would rate this 10 stars if I could! Don't even bother adding the sugar called for in the recipe, I didn't and it was perfect. This has to be the easiest most yummiest appetizer I have ever made. Be sure to soak the apple slices in a bowl of cold water with about a tsp. of lemon juice to keep them from turning brown. Everyone loved this. You cannot stop at one. A guaranteed hit for sure! My new favourite. Thank you Kirsten!

Lentil Soup with Lemon

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2013
This soup is so simple to make and the flavour is so good. I doubled the recipe and did not add the tomato paste and it was still yummy. I also omitted the olive oil drizzle just to save on added fat and calories. The fresh cilantro and lemon at the end is perfect. This is a favourite for sure! Thank you Jodi for sharing!
