Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Not spectacular. Made it twice--once as directed and it was too bland. Tripled the ingredients the next time and it was better.

Creamy Vegan Corn Chowder

oh em gee.....this is the BEST soup I've ever had in my entire life!! The ONLY alteration I made was to add 1/4 barley because I needed to use it up. My husband was very surprised when I told him it was all vegan--he's as much a carnivore as a T-REX!

Amazing Italian Lemon Butter Chicken

oh em gee!! This is SOOOO good. I didn't have any wine, so I omitted that but even then...holy ! Everyone LOVES it. My husband rated it a 10! He wanted me to make it the next night! Ingredients are kind of expensive where I'm at:( Oh well, it's too good not to make regularly. Thank God for P90X otherwise this would make me HUGE. :)

Baked Kale Chips

I was really hoping these would be good. I can tolerate a very wide range of foods (from durian to eel!), but these were definitely not appetizing for me. The texture was just off. At first I thought maybe I baked them too long, but I made them two more times and they still weren't appetizing.

Bourbon Pecan Chicken

wow, this was delicious! The only thing I changed was I used chicken thighs because I was concerned about it getting too dry. This has a little bit more of a bourbon flavor, but it still was good. Next time I'll try the vanilla instead of bourbon. My husband said he'd rate it 9.6 if I would have used the chicken breasts as written;) This will definitely be a staple in our house!

wow, this was delicious! The only thing I changed was I used chicken thighs because I was concerned about it getting too dry. This has a little bit more of a bourbon flavor, but it still was good. Just a note about the parchment paper: It is MEANT to be used in the oven. If you are having issues with it smoking/melting, you're probably using WAX paper. :) Recipe is fine as written.

Apple Butter Ham Glaze

This is the best glaze recipe!!! I served a ham for Christmas, and my sister-in-law hates ham. I came into the kitchen and I caught her sneaking a bite--she LIKES ham with this glaze on it!!! :)

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

I can't believe this recipe got such good ratings!! I hated it, as did my three year old. We followed the recipe exactly. My husband thought it was okay, but would have omitted the pepper completely. I eat potato soup at least 3 times a month at work and that's cafeteria food--it's great! I won't be making this again.
