Ed Zieba's Famous Family Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2012
These were not moist for me. I'm still not sure why considering the cooking method. I'll have to give it another shot. Flavors were not what I'd hoped either. Used plenty of Lowery's and granulated garlic powder, but the flavors were still very mild.

The salad has great potential ~ the ingredients go great together. I was hoping for more flavor to the dressing.

Very good. Added a little lemon zest, which gave it a very fresh flavor.

This turned out fine, but I couldn't really taste the maple or the bacon ~ which is why I made the recipe.

Lemony Garlic Shrimp with Pasta

Yummy! Skipped the brining since I was doing this right away for dinner. Doubled the sauce. Fresh flavored because of the lemon ~ delicious.

Deer Chop Hurry

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2012
This was very sweet (and I used less than the packed 1/2 cup it called for). A surprise to the taste buds when it looks like a gravy. Served over mashed potatoes, and with leftovers made a shephard's pie. Next time I would leave out, or use very little, of the sugar

Good, but could use more intense flavors. Try fresh ginger & garlic with orange zest added to the sauce ~ and mandarin oranges.

Super yummy. Didn't turn out so fluffy when making "purple pancakes". Taste was still fabulous though.Try again without the huckleberries and I bet they'll be amazing.

Good taste, but needed more kick. Worked well for a variety of people though ~ just put out a bottle of Louisianna hot sauce to go with it.
