Asiago Hash Browns

It was good, but the Asiago cheese didn't make it that much better to be worth the extra expense.

First one I made - the cake mix must have been bad, didn't raise much, but was good. Redid it and turned out perfect. Made 12 cakes/bars for an anniversary party and my hubby preferred this one. So easy.

I prefer the other roll up recipes to this one. Just too rich for any of us. Maybe with a non-chocolate filling it would have been better. Too bad.

Apricot Brown Sugar Ham

Very good - not really a ham lover, but this was good and got many compliments for it., My 2 year old grandson is asking for more ham from the leftovers instead of his "cookie".

French Silk Chocolate Pie I

Came out perfect by just following the recipe. Some may have used larger pie plates and it wouldn't be enough then. My husband is the French Silk pie lover and he said it tasted like the real thing. Just was upset I didn't have the chocolate curls on it.

Apple Pie

Delicious and beautiful had several compliments. Only problem it could have cooked a little longer, my fault. I did add vanilla and cinnamon but otherwise followed recipe. This is a keeper.

Banana Cream Pie I

The taste was very good the first day, but I haven't made Banana Cream before so how do you keep the bananas from turning brown. The second day they weren't very good. Not the recipes fault there. But if using 4 bananas they must be smaller size, my larger ones 3 was almost too much. The second day they weren't very good.

Double Chocolate Pie

The pie is rich and chocolaty, but I think it is too much so. Some people liked it, but I just felt it was too overwhelming chocolate. To say the least I was disappointed, it was supposed to be a special pie for my dad. I would have given it fewer stars, but felt this was more a personal dislike not the recipes fault. Thank goodness the coconut cream recipe I got from allrecipes was great.
