Milk Cracker Stuffing

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2012
This was delicious! I had some family for dinner and had prepared the stuffing ahead of time to put in the oven 40 minutes before dinner. Ten minutes before I realized I had forgotten the stuffing in the refridgerator. I had no choice, but to microwave it. I microwaved for 10 minutes and still people were raving. I cannot wait to bake it. This was probably the best new recipe I have tried in years. Thank you.

Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
I served this tonight. My family loved it. My husband is usually very picky when it comes to beef and doesn't like any tough meat. This was fork tender and full of flavor. I always thought you had to slow roast to get that kind of result. This was just delicious!

Broccoli-Stuffed Sole

Reviewed: Feb. 29, 2012
Because not all of my family likes fish, I pounded chicken breasts and used the stuffing in both sole and chicken. They were both delicious!!!! I listened to other reviews and halfed the salt and lemon. I also used panko crumbs on top and then drizzled the lemon butter over the crumbs before baking. I cooked the chicken an extra 10 minutes. I am not a fan of stuffed fish, but this was exceptional! I am making it again next time I have a large family dinner. Great recipe, Thank you Edna!

Seafood Chowder

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2012
I had cod that I needed to use. I decided to try this recipe. I also had some scallops and shrimp in my freezer. I followed the recipe exactly (used corn starch as a thickener as others recommended) but I am not a fan of curry. Instead of the curry, I added a tablespoon of Old Bay Seasoning and a half of teaspoon of dill. This was restaurant quality chowder. Absolutely delicious. Thanks for sharing.

Easy Peach Crisp I

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2012
I love easy desserts since it is not my area of expertise. I made this using fresh ripe white peaches and added a box of fresh raspberries. I cut back on sugar as other reviewers suggested. It was a huge hit. My daughter just ate the leftovers for breakfast!!

Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2012
This has all the basic ingredients of most Mexican dishes, yet it was really delicious. I added a layer of yellow rice under the chicken mixture to make it a complete meal. Very easy - very good.

Classic Rice Pilaf

Reviewed: May 15, 2013
I tried this rice tonight and it was a huge hit!! I made it exactly as the recipe stated except I added small bits of carrots just because I like carrots in rice. The cayenne pepper was subtle, but there - it gave it just a touch of heat and i basically like saffron in anything. I cannot wait to make this again. It may just be the best recipe I have ever made from AllRecipes !!!!

Pumpkin Roll I

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2013
I made this last week after seeing it featured on AllRecipes. I had everything, but a cotton towel or a jelly pan. I sprayed a cookie sheet with PAM and then lined the cookie sheet with parchment paper. I actually used a pillow case instead of a towel and did not coat it with confectionary sugar. It got rave reviews and came out perfectly. I just made two more for tomorrow. Again I used pillowcases and they both came out perfect. Love this recipe!!
