Penne with Mushrooms

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
I loved it! My husband loved it! My in-laws were impressed! I used the tri-color pasta with the pre-cut mushrooms and it was perfect.

Tony's Summer Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
Pay attention to the order and the ratio of ingredients. When I followed the directions it was perfect, but when I added a little extra it didn't turn out nearly as well. I will make this with fresh tomatoes from my garden every summer. It was so good!

This was so easy! I can't wait to try it for breakfast. I had everything I needed in my kitchen. I think next time I will add a few chocolate chips. I love chocolate. This made my house smell wonderful.

Jalapeno Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
This sounds like something my mom found in a magazine a few years ago. I wanted her recipe, but she couldn't remember which magazine it was in. I'm planning on using this holiday season at least once but hopefully this will give me a use for the fresh jalapenos from my garden.

Felix K.'s 'Don't even try to say these aren't the best you've ever eaten, because they are' Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2009
Good but hard to find the size that baked up the best. I made several huge, 2 to a cookie sheet and then I started making the cookies my normal size. I use a small Pampered Chef scoop and I get the best sized chocolate chip cookies.

Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
I tried to follow the recipe, but I didn't have cheddar. The colby/mont.jack that I used was delish. I tried several with garlic butter and just as many with only butter. The biscuts w/o garlic were great for breakfast the next day.

Morning Glory Muffins I

I loved how moist the muffins turned out. I added extra apples and skipped the rasins b/c I didn't have any. Wonderful guilt free breakfast.

Scrambled Egg Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
I made these for Christmas morning with my family. Everyone loved them, even the people who showed up an hour late. The reheated muffins disappeared. I didn't have all of the veggies that I needed so I used salsa in some and fresh veggies in the others.

Mint Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
I just did two layers, it didn't look the same but the taste was delish. I though it was easy enough. It was my first time making fudge and I thought it was easy enough.

Simply Fudgy Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2009
I loved how this recipe was just as easy as a mix. I skipped the nuts, and didn't put many chocolate chips on top. It was the best homemade brownie I've ever made.

Mexicali Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2009
Ok, so I used this recipe, but I wasn't in a hury so I changed it a bit. I used the basic idea of the recipe so that is why I would recomend this so highly. I sprinkled the taco seasoning over the port chops, and then sliced the chops so they were about 1/2 inch wide. I put the rest of the seasoning in a pan w/ 2 packets of water. I added the port chop strips, covered it up and cooked on medium to medium low heat for 40 min. THe pork chop strips were done after 30, but the rice wasn't done so I just let it simmer a little longer. It was so incredibly tender. I will make this again.

French Silk Chocolate Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
This was the best chocolate pie ever! I used a grahmcracker crust and my mom used real whipping cream for the topping. I didn't mention the raw eggs, I didn't want anyone to worry anyone for no reason. The pie disappeared so fast at my family Thanksgiving. I didn't change the recipe. I just took my time with my stand mixer and let everything get nice and fluffy.

German Sweet Chocolate Cake II

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
The cake tasted great, but it was crumbly. I didn't use enough spray on the cake pans but the parts that did come out in one piece were crumbly. I had to use a chocolate fudge recipe to hide the fact that it was pieced together. So it was a learning experiance, next time I will use tons of spray on the pan.

Caroline's Chocolate Fudge Frosting

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
This frosting saved the birthday cake I made for my husband last weekend. I attempted to make a german chocolate cake but I didn't use enough spray on the pans. So, the cake came out in pieces and I used this frosting to hide the fact that it was such a mess. It saved my husbands birthday cake. I had run out of time for the back up pan of brownies.
