Hot Turkey Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2012
Really great way to use left over turkey! The only thing I did differently, was add our left over cranberry sauce to the mayo and lemon juice.. About 2 tablespoons. More would have been even tastier! So good!

Absolutely Amazing Ahi

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2010
This was delicious! I didn't have sesame seeds, so had to omit them. Also, I wasn't sure if my ahi was sashimi grade, so I pan seared it to be on the safe side. It was perfectly rare and had great flavour. I served it with rice crackers. I might add a bit of wasabi next time to give it a bit of kick. Will make this again soon! Thank you!

Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

Reviewed: May 11, 2010
This was a delicious recipe. I used basa filets and it was so tasty. The only thing I ommited was the butter in the sauce, just te reduce the calories. It worked out just fine. The mustard and honey stuck perfectly to the fish and the bread crumbs and pecans stuck perfectly to the sauce. Thanks!

Carrot Cake VIII

Reviewed: May 8, 2010
Do not ommit the orange in the frosting! This was the best carrot cake frosting ever due to the amazing flavour of the orange. This cake was delicious. I followed the recipe exactly. I did turn it into a layer cake however. I baked both cakes in a round 9inch pan for about 35 minutes each at 350 degrees. I made 2 batches of icing just so there was a thick layer of icing between layers. This was a beautiful cake. Very moist.

Almond Rhubarb Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2010
This cake is very moist and so good! I used 1 cup of apple sauce instead of the oil to lessen the fat content. I also baked it in a sheet cake pan. It baked to perfection in 35 minutes. My first coffee cake! I will make it again! A great way to use my mass amounts of rhubarb. Thanks for the recipe!

Simple Caesar Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2010
Followed the recipe but added more garlic powder, only because I over poured, and less Parmesan, only becsause I only had about 1/3 cup. It was really great. The lemon flavour is really nice. It's a nice light caesar dressing.

Easy Curried Cauliflower

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
I gave this 4 stars because as it was, I felt it was lacking something. I followed the recipe exactly, but wanted it to be more moist once it was nearly done cooking. So I added 1 tablespoon of butter and a couple of teaspoons of flower, mixed it all up, then added a bit of milk. Just enough to add a bit of moistness to the dish. This extra step made it nice and creamy. Very tasty! Thanks!

Rhubarb Stir Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
This cake was very moist. I did add a bit extra rhubarb because I had a little left over. I should have baked it a litle longer. But the moistness made it tast fresher longer. I also cut down on the brown sugar. Only used a cup. Its a bit more tart as a result, but we love the taste of rhubarb, so it was perfet for us. Thanks!
