Cioccolata Calda (Hot Chocolate Italian-Style)

This was really good! I tripled the recipe & added about a Tbsp of cinnamon & a little more cornstarch than the recipe called for (wanted it on the thicker side). It reminds me of a drink I've had in Mexico (champurrado??). YUM!!!!

Best Ever Bruschetta!

This was very yummy! I sliced the tomatoes instead of peeling/chopping & just spread a little tomato paste on the bottom of each slice. The butter mixture was so yummy- next time I'm going to double that part. I baked @ 350 for 10-15 minutes instead of broiling (only because I don't have very good luck broiling). I also omitted the olives (don't care for olives). Will definitely make again! Thank you!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Milkshake

I read the reviews before I made this and decided to adjust the amount of peanut butter. This was YUMMY. Will definitely make again. We have a really good blender (Vitamix) and it was definitely as good as or better than a restaurant quality shake. Some blenders just can't handle the ice. ;) Here's how I made mine (made 4 generous servinigs): just under 1 C. peanut butter, a bit more than 1/2 C. chocolate syrup, 1/2 C. milk & 24 ice cubes (basically doubled it but kept the amount of peanut butter the same). Perfect.

SO yummy! I only omitted the ice as I used FROZEN strawberries. It was smooth & creamy! Will DEFINITELY make this again!

Glazed Salmon Fillet

This was delicious! Perfect just as is. We cooked it on a cedar plank on the grill and that really complemented it well. Definitely a keeper- we'll be making this again! It reminded me of a dish we had at a local trendy restaurant (they also cooked it on a cedar plank)- $21 a plate!

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

This was a very tasty dish! I didn't have time to marinate it and it still came out great! Next time I will try & plan ahead a little and marinate it so that yummy flavor soaks up in the chicken. We just had this last week & plan to have it again this week! My little ones loved it too!

Chocolate Candy Bar Cake

I made this for my mom's birthday & got SO many compliments on it! I had to print off the recipe for my grandma. I plan on making it again for my son's first birthday with some homemade ice cream! Instead of using pecans & chocolate bars, I chopped up Skor bars & added those.
