Balsamic Chicken

This is simply divine !!! No worries about the marinade, it's fine as long as it's boiled. There is marinade left on the meat and we eat it because it has been heated up enough to kill germs. Anyhow, love this gourmet recipe ! Thank you so much !!

Cretons

Cretons are not the most flavorful of recipes but I like to make them more yummy by using 2 cloves are garlic and adding Parsley and dry minced green onion when they are done cooking. I also let them simmer for another hour or 2. When done, I put them in my food processor and then let them set in the fridge over night. They are great in the morning with butter on toast, with mustard and toast or regular bread for lunch, or on French baguettes alone or with butter or mustard.

Chicken Rice Soup Mix

Must be a typo cause 1/2 cup chicken bouillon granules just can't be ... must be 1/2 cup of chicken broth.

Brandy Lee, you don't have to burn them to the crisp, she said 20 minutes OR until ''lightly'' brown and if they don't brown, just take them out of the oven and eat them.

Swedish Chocolate Balls (or Coconut Balls)

Yummy ! I was looking for a chocolate fix and these sure did the job ! Very good ! Viva Sweden and thanks so much for sharing this recipe ! The only tip I would have is to make sure you have enough plates to put them on because your hands are going to be black. lol

Honey Butter Yule Ham

Pork Chops to Live For

Yummy !! These were great ! I followed the recipe and didn't see a problem with the egg nor flour. Must have kept the meat together. I took the meat apart in my plate though to mix it with the yummy sauce. As suggested, I added sage, thyme and oingon powder. Thanks for offering a new way to eat pork chops ! Will definitely make again !

Dash's Donair

Born in Nova Scotia, lived in NB and can't live without my donairs ! Simply divine ! Paradise ! lol Good thing we have these recipes or we'd be flying to NS just to get some ! I'm in Quebec and the only ones I found here are nothing like a real donair. Not even worth buying. This pizza place says their donairs are like Pizza Time but NOT at all ! sorry for rambling on .. have mine in the oven right now and just wanted to say that last time I made some, I made my own pita bread with a recipe I found on Interent and they were so GOOD ! Well worth the work. They were soft and chewy like the ones at Greco, nothing like the store bought pitas, but then it's more work to get what you want. lol * ok now I tried this one and this is the best recipe for the meat, didn't try the sauce but the meat had the same texture as in Pizza places. I do agree on doubling the spices or adding a bit more if you like it spicy. as for the Italian seasoning, I personally didn't like it much and would cut down or leave it out. Gives a different taste then to what I'm accustomed to. Also, I always add some paprika and find it even tastier that way.

Chicago-Style Hot Dog

Just tasted these without the sport peppers and only had chicken wieners so definitely not authentic but was a very nice change from our boring Canadian hot-dogs ! Loved them and will try the authentic way next time. I did cheat and ended up adding ketchup .. couldn't resist !

Caramel Apples

Yummy and so easy to make !! Thanks ! I put them in a very well buttered pyrex dish and I also followed the tips and put my apples in the freezer a few minutes before dipping them. I cooked them in a pan instead of the microwave so they wouldn't harden to much and I washed the apples well before to make sure the caramel would stick to them. Plastic forks work just as well. Keeping this recipe !

Candied Apples II

I didn't find that these apples were as tasty as the ones you can get at the fair and I didn't find them to be worth the trouble. I also suggest doubling the recipe because I only had enough for half and putting it in a warm bowl of water as someone suggested is a must !

Garlic Butter

OMG ! This butter poses a danger to my hips ! It's the best I've ever had and simply PERFECTO ! I followed I'm nuts to advice and used 1 tsp of garlic power and 1/4 tsp of salt... was perfect ! Thanks so much for this recipe ! I'm keeping it and will not longer be looking for another.
