Creolized Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2012
This was a really good recipe however we made a few changes to make a more true cajun recipe. Here are the changes: Instead of mushrooms, we used shrimp and omitted the blue cheese dressing. Sautéed the sausage, shrimp, and added 1 tbsp of unsalted butter in a pan and then put it all in a food processor which we then stuffed the chicken with. Then we liberally applied cajun pepper to the chicken once stuffed and then seared the chicken with butter. Lastly we cooked the chicken on 375 for 30 mins....great cajun recipe!

Baked Lemon Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2010
This was a really good recipe for wanting something with a hint of lemon that isn't too over powering. I loved this and I followed the recipe exactly. Definitely not disappointed! Very good!

This was amazing! I did add cream of mushroom to the chicken broth before adding it to chicken and it made the perfect mixture! I will definitely will be making this again and again! A+ recipe!

Strawberry Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2010
I REALLY liked this bread...but I did make a few changes including cutting it down to one loaf. I made sure to still add 4 cups of very ripe strawberries (2 cups purred and 2 cups diced) and sprinkled all with sugar. I then used 1/4 cup olive oil, 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, and 1 tsp vanilla. Baking for 45 mins is perfect and this is one of the best breakfast breads ever!

Perfect Apple Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2010
Oh my goodness this is my FAVORITE recipe for apple pie now. I have tried a few other ones (including Granny Ople's) and by far this the best one! The only thing I did different was follow other reviewers and used 1/2 white sugar and 1/2 brown sugar and it came out Perfect thus giving credit to its' name. Deleting all other apple pie recipes from my box!

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2010
Ok this is so easy and wonderful. I am so excited to finally find the best pie (fruit) crust ever! I did use butter instead of shortening and it turned out great. Just follow the recipe and you won't be disappointed! :)

Parmesan Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
I made these and they were delicious! My husband loved them and asked for another batch. However I only gave them four stars as they are SMOTHERED in butter and cannot be even remotely healthy for you. I will definitely make these again but it will be a time in which I am not watching our calorie intake. Thanks for the recipe!

St. Louis Toasted Ravioli

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2010
This was really good but I used skim milk to try and cut the calories and well the dish was dry...so I think next time I will just follow the recipe and use whole milk. I also add basil, oregano, and salt to the bread crumbs to taste and it worked perfect. Will definitely make again!

The Best Chicken Fried Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2010
This was really good...however be careful with the shortening grease as it splatters...as my poor hand found out. But this was a really good recipe and I will definitely try to make again without any accidents.

Rich Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2010
I just really did not like this recipe. I don't know what it is and I followed the recipe exactly. It came out just like it was supposed to but the texture was 'mousse-like' and by that I mean it was almost like eating a malt. I also did not like the chocolate taste. Maybe I will try again but that might be a lot of ingredients to waste. More power to the people who enjoy this one.

Cheese Onion Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2010
I thought that this recipe was really good...however watch the calories of this. Its definitely a lot! After a few bites it seemed to be a too much and I could tell that this was really heavy. So I ended up scraping off the top and just eating the bread with the butter mixture on it which was really good. Anyway I liked this but could not rate it very high due to the high calories...

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
I followed this recipe and I don't know..this was an o.k. recipe...I wasn't too fond of it and I actually ate a little bit and didn't eat the rest. It wasn't that it tasted bad but it was more bland than I expected. It was just different and not the corn pudding I remember as a kid. Oh well I'll just look for another recipe...

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2009
Oh my goodness! Wow I have made several turkeys and this is by far the best way to come out with a moist and juicy turkey! Also my husband and I have a little secret to cooking turkeys....we cook it upside down so that the white meat is drenched in juices and is the BEST part of the whole meal! Will definitely use every time we make a turkey! A+

Peanut Blossoms II

I like these cookies...they are really good but they are only moist for 2 days at the most and then well they can be really hard which makes them not so good to eat...So I give this 3 stars just for how long they last..which is not long...

Chicken Parmigiana

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
I thought that this was a fantastic recipe.. I love chicken paramesan and this was an amazing 'homemade' version. I did adjust the bread crumbs according to other reviewers such as adding basil, thyme, and paramesan cheese to the mixture. I will definitely be making this again especially when I have a taste for an Italian dinner dish! You will not be disappointed by this one, just follow the recipe!

Mediterranean Puff Pastry Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
I swear this is the BEST chicken recipe ever! I was really surprised and the only change I made was to leave out the spinach (as I do not care for it). The Pepperidge Farm pastry is the best one to use and make sure to allow the chicken to marinade over night...it really does make a difference. Just try this one and you will be hooked! Will be making again and again...A+

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2009
I thought that these were REALLY good! However I don't think that I put enough cream cheese in the middle and thought that it needed more (I ended up throwing some out) . Next time I will use all of it! Also I did add 1/2 tsp. of pumpkin pie spice to the muffin batter and also used brown sugar in the streudel mix. I loved it!

Baked Chicken Nuggets

This was a great recipe! I used skim milk to coat the chicken instead of butter (for a healthier meal). It was very good and I will definitely make this again. Very quick and easy to make especially after a long day at work! A+ recipe!
