Amish Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2010
This is great and always a hit when I serve. I have substituted mozerella cheese for the swiss and it is still great!

Patti's Mussels a la Mariniere

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2010
I personally don't eat mussels, however my husband gives this 5 stars and in fact he said that this recipe is way better than any restaurant he's order from.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
WOW this was great!!! I was skeptical about making Chx Cordon Blue on the stove top but it was fab! One suggestion is to cut down the cooking time after you add the wine. Chicken is safe to eat at 170 degrees - I would take the chicken off then to save some of the cheese in the middle (overcooking it will melt all of the cheese out of the roll) and to ensure it doesn't get to dry.

Pan-Fried Asparagus

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
This recipe has too much oil and butter. After I started the asparagus I read the reviews and saw the correction by the one who posted the recipe. I will try again with half of those ingreds.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
I hate to give this recipe such a low rating...but it took a few hours to make and it was way to salty. I followed this recipe as listed and wow it was so salty my husband who is not picky at all couldn't even eat. If you can get past the salt the flavor more Italian like. I thought about trying again without the salt but I don't want to spend all of this time on a meal and it be another flop.

Twice Baked Potatoes II

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
My family loved these!!! I would have to say this is the best potato I've ever made. I shortened the cooking time by cooking the potatos in the microwave first and then finished them off in the oven for 15 minutes. Thank you!

Spicy Peach-Glazed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
I love this recipe...it has the perfect combination of spicy and sweet. I subed crushed red peppers for the chili past (didn't have any). One thing you have to make sure of is to keep your heat low while cooking with the peach galze - it's very easy to burn and carmalize.

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
I thought this recipe was great. I gave it a four star because the amount of spices were a bit to much I would cut down the basil and paparika by half. Overall, yummy.

Golden Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2009
This is a quick, easy and yummy recipe. One note is that this is a relly thick soup...I doubled the water and used bacon instead of ham. I also cut back the cheese to 1 cup. Thanks for the recipe.

WOW!!! I have made alot of versions of meatloaf and this is by far the BEST!! I made a few changes...instead of bread crumbs I used crushed ritz crackers and I used half of the milk (I like my meatloaf firm). Thanks for the recipe this will be my meatloaf choice from now on.

Chocolate Chex® Caramel Crunch

This is a tastey recipe...very easy to make. The drizzle didn't work out so well so I had to just add white and milk chocolate chips to the mix.

Candy Coated Pecans

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2008
Fantastic recipe!!! I made these for a holiday party and I had to refill the bowl at least five times. I took the advice of some of the reviewers by increasing the coating and adding cinnamon and honey. I used 8 cups of pecans and made 3x's the original recipe and added 3 tbls of cinnimon and 1 tbls of honey. PERFECT!!!!

Slow Cooker Barbeque

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
This was so easy and very tastey! One recommmendation is to not leave it in the crock pot more that 9 hours or it tends to get a bit chewy. I used eye of round meat.

Baked French Fries I

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2008
Thanks for the recipe! It was very tasty. I didn't have any chili powder on hand so I used crushed red peppers and it turned out well. I think that the cooking time is a bit long..I had to remove mine 11 minutes early. So I would decrease either your temp or time.
