Uptown Cowboy Caviar

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2014
Made this for our tailgate this past weekend and it was a hit. Everyone wanted the recipe. The chopping takes a while but it's worth it. I'll be making this again.

Made this exactly as the recipe is written and served over egg noodles and with peas. It was delicious and I was asked to keep it in the regular rotation. It is easy, tasty, and great comfort food. I will be making this again. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2014
We loved this recipe! I followed the advice of other users and used 1/4 cup of soy sauce (low sodium). I also added a few squirts of honey and doubled the sauce. I served over jasmine rice and with broccoli. Will definitely make these again. Thanks for sharing!

Peanut Butter and Jelly Oatmeal Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2012
These are delicious! After reading other reviews I used 4 tbps of peanut butter instead of 3 and I let the batter sit for 5 minutes so it could thicken. We ate them with black raspberry jam instead of strawberry because that was all we had on hand. Also tried a few with butter and syrup and they were good. Will definitely make these again!

Cinnamon Sweet Potato Chips

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2011
Yummy! I sliced my potatoes, sprayed a cookie sheet with olive oil and laid the potato slices in a single layer on the cookie sheet. Then I melted some butter and drizzled over the slices. I sprinkled the other items on each potato without measuring. I will make these on a weekly basis. They are VERY good.

Breakstone's Red Velvet Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
This cake was heavy and had an odd texture. he flavor was okay. The icing was good. I doubled the icing b/c I didn't want it to be skimpy and that worked out well. I most likely will not make this cake again but I will probably use the frosting recipe along with another cake recipe.

Great recipe! I did everything like the recipe says, except I had sage sausage and I couldn't find plum tomatoes in a can so I used diced tomatoes from a can. I will definitely make this again!
