Banana Cream Pie III

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2009
This was such a great pie, and so easy! I used the 'Pie Crust IV' recipe from this site (also easy!), baked, let it cool. I sliced two bananas and put them on the bottom, and used only one package of Vanilla pudding mix. I mixed the pudding as per package instruction (only 2 cups mile) until it was firm then folded in half of the whipped topping. The pie was not runny at all, the filling amount was perfect and my husband couldn't get enough of this pie. Will definitely use again!

Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2009
I admit I was a bit skeptical of the pineapple/horseradish combo, but it was so delicious! I added way more horseradish than the recipe called for just to suit my tastes, and I used canned pineapple that I pureed. And I used dried rosemary. It turned out so moist and tasty, I'll definitely be making this again! Thanks :)

I don't know what happened, but they were just okay. I followed the recipe to a T. I'd play around with it next time and try to tweak it.

Orange, Walnut, Gorgonzola and Mixed Greens Salad with Fresh Citrus Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
What a great salad recipe! I did follow other's suggestions and eased up on the sugar. I added a tsp at a time until it was just right. I brought this dish to our neighbours for pot luck and it was a hit!

Wacky Cake VIII

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
I wasn't sure about this cake to begin with, but a friend told me about it so I gave it a try. What a delicious cake! Moist and chocolatey, oh so yummy. And I topped it off with an almond glaze. My mother in law loved it!

Broccoli Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
I read through others suggestions first and cooked the stuffing before adding it to the casserole, and I used some sour cream and milk instead of the mayo. My husband and I couldn't get enough of it! There were zero leftovers, delicious!

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies I

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2009
I gave this recipe 5 stars because I never tried it as is, I ended up tweaking it with others suggestions, but it was fantastic! As per suggestions I added an extra 1/4 C flour, I also added 3/4 tsp cloves, 1 C coconut, 1/4 C butterscotch chips, and 1/4 C walnuts. What a delicious treat! These cookies have it all and taste divine! I also dropped the temperture down to 350 degrees as people had mentioned the tendency for these cookies to burn. Perfection!

Chocolate Chip Peppermint Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
I didn't have enough chocolate chips, so I did half chocolate and half white chocolate chips. And I added crushed candy cane to the recipe instead of peppermint extract....divine!!! I can't wait to make more of these for christmas!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2008
I doubled this recipe before I read the reviews because I could tell there wasn't going to be enough to fit into the dish. My husband and daughter enjoyed it, but I found the crumble on the top not crumbly enough and it hardened too much while baking. I don't think I'd make it again, I'll search on this site for a different apple crisp recipe.
