Slow Cooker Creamy Beef Stroganoff

Used a London Broil. YummO. It fell apart. Melt in your mouth. Cheaper cut of meat, but just as good. Also, added noodles to crockpot last hour which gave the noodles more flavor than just cooking them. Had to add a little beef broth when I added the noodles. Hubby even liked..and he is not a big beef stroganoff fan. He said..yes..make this again.

Saucy Slow Cooker Pork Chops

Oh My Gosh! This was great! I only had 4 chops and a 15 oz. can of tomato sauce, which I think you need, no green pepper, used a yellow one. Even my picky husband ask me to make this again..soon! Definitely use the cornstarch to thicken the sauce and serve over the chops.

Cocktail Meatballs IV

Great starter recipe. Like others I tweaked it a bit to suit our tastes. Used a 12 oz. jar of grape jelly and 12 oz. bottle of chili sauce, a few squirts of dijon mustard and a few dashes hot sauce. Mixed all together on top of stove unil well blended. Used a bag of frozen Italian meatballs (about 15) and 2/3 package of Lil Turkey Smokies. Heated meatballs in over, then added all to sauce. Did it on top of stove cause my crockpot was in use. Came out great! Hubby keep going back for more. Will definetly make again. Thanks jhibbard!

Hog Maw

My husband and I grew up on this as we are both from York, PA. Yummy! Recipe defers from family to family. I omit the cabbage because we never made it that way. I also use half ground beef and half bulk pork sausage and some diced onion. I don't pre-boil the potatoes, just mix it all together, stuff the maw (pig stomach), sew the opening closed and bake. The maw is no different than a sausage casing, but does impart a wonderful flavor to the filling.

Grilled Asparagus

Awesome! I marinated it in EVOO, balsamic vinaigrette, kosher salt & ground pepper about an hour. Grilled it on my Cuisinart Griddler until just tender, crisp. Easy, fast and delish!

Basic Microwave Risotto

Not only is this easy, but it is sooo good! Even better than I have had in restaurants. I didn't have wine so I used chicken bouillon dissolved in water, also left out the garlic. Had some edamame and added that..wonderful! Had it for lunch and dinner. Can't wait to make this for guests. Update!! Just made this for dinner with crab cakes..my hubby is not a big rice "fan". He had 2 helpings and made a "TV" dinner with the leftovers..that says a lot!

Frogmore Stew

Love, love, love this. My husband asks for it every summer. I use kielbasa because we like the flavor, cut the potatoes in half or quaters, depending on size. This way the potatoes go futher and get more of the seasoning in them. The last time I made it I also added king crab legs...awesome!! Love to make this for friends also. Something a little diff than burgers and dogs on the grill. Eat outside on deck..no mess in the house that way. Is just as good reheated too.

Old Fashioned Apple Dumplings

Better than my Moms...sshh..don't tell her. I used ready made pie crusts. Rolled each one out as much as I could and cut in half. Made 4 big apple dumplings. Used 1 1/2 cups white sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar for sauce...yumm. Sprinkled top of dumplings with cinnamon. Basted dumplings only once, near end of baking. It does look like a lot of sauce..but it's not really. Put leftovers in fridge. When ready to eat..just put in a bowl, spooned some sauce over top and popped in microwave for about 1-2 minutes. DELISH!!!

Pork Chop and Potato Casserole

Best Bread Machine Bread

This really does come out great! I followed other suggestions and subbed 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour for 1/2 cup of bread flour and used 1 1/2 tsp salt. I was surprised at how much it rose. Will be making this many more times. Thanks SHECOOKS2.

Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin

OMG! This was the best pork loin I have ever made. Flavorful and moist. My husband said "this is a keeper" and I don't remember him ever saying that. Made it with my homemade fettuccine alfredo and gingered carrots, and a salad. Will definetly be making this once a month. Thanks for sharing.

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

These were the best twice baked potatoes I have ever had. I did not have bacon and only had freeze dried green onions. Mixed them and some freeze dried chives with the sour cream and put in fridge while potatoes baked. Omitted additional salt since the butter & cheese had salt in it. Didn't even need to use mixer, just mixed everything together with a fork and they were awesome.

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

This was awesome! I used a bit less soy sauce and subbed balsamic vinaigrette cause that's all I had. Used big asparagus. DH and I both said..this is a keeper. Yum!
