Made these for a bridal shower and everyone was asking for the recipe when it was finished. They were delicious. The only issue I had was that the cookies got a little too brown on the bottom, but that could have have the pan I was cooking with. Next time I will not cook them for so long.

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

REALLY sweet. Was super simple to make, but no one could eat more than a sliver. If you like really rich desserts, you would love this, but it was a little too rich for me.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

I made the cornbread in a cast iron skillet in the oven, and it was amazing. I followed another reviewer's suggestion and only put it in the oven for 25 minutes. It was cooked perfectly. 40 minutes would have burnt it. Also, I only used 1/3 cup sugar and it was still sweet.

Pear Crumb Pie

I made this pie last night using a refrigerated pie crust for the bottom crust. I also took another reviewer's recommendation and used a tablespoon of vanilla extract instead of the lemon juice. I omitted the ginger, only because I didn't have any, and the pie was exceptional. My husband and I agreed that it was one of the best pies we had ever had.
