Hot Pepper Jelly

Great taste, but I made it EXACTLY like the instructions say, and it has yet to jell. I read somewhere that pepper jellies can take up to a week, but I'm not sure if it is true with this recipe. Hopefully, because it's been over 24hrs, and my 12 jars look thinner than a syrup. Again, though, I love the taste!

This jelled perfectly, but I could tasted the lemon in it, and I wasn't crazy about that. Other than that, great recipe! ETA: I take that lemon part back! I have made this recipe several times since then, and I couldn't love it more!

I made this recipe exactly, and it jelled perfectly. Can't complain at all! I think you just have to make sure that it hits that 220 degree mark. Turned out 4 and a half 8 oz jars.

Apple Butter I

I used the half sugar, half cinnamon that others suggested. I also used an immersion blender after 12 hrs, then left the lid off for the another 1-2 hours to increase the thickness. I preserved in 8oz jars, using the boiling water bath method for 10 minutes. Recipe yielded 3 and 3/4 jars. I will be giving these to family and friends for Christmas gifts! Great recipe!
