Blueberry Muffins I

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2010
Used frozen mixed berries instead of just blueberries and they turned out great! The only other change was I used whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose, thats just my taste preference. Unlike other reviewers, I did not add more sugar, because I do not like sweet things, so these were perfect for me. However, I can see why people would double the sugar if they prefer more sweetness. What a great and easy recipe!!!

Coconut Pumpkin Nut Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
Loved this so much! I was looking for a pumpkin recipe to bake and I didn't have any eggs in the house so came across this one. I also didn't have any coconut or nuts, so swapped the coconut milk for skim milk and left out the nuts. Only made one loaf so halved the recipe, and it only needed 50 mins to cook. It turned out amazing!!! It was more dense than other loafs but this suited the taste perfectly. highly recommend.

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2009
Excellent apple crisp, and really easy to make!! I cut the white sugar in half, and I think next time I'll do the same with the brown sugar as well. It definitely doesn't need all the sugar asked for! I also cut the water to 1/4 c as others had suggested. And I added a dash of nutmeg. It came out really well!!! Next time I will try whole wheat flour rather than plain for the crumble. Very good!!

Excellent - we really loved this recipe!! My husband and I made it as a meal, and served it on top of some lettuce. It was so tasty with the mix of bacon, tuna and avocado. I definitely recommend this dish!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: May 16, 2009
Excellent! Followed the recipe exactly as it was, except didn't put the full 2 cups of chocolate chips (I didn't want it too chocolate-y). I made sure not to overcook them, definitely 15 minutes were all they needed. Perfect!!

Sweet Potato (Kumara) Wedges

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2009
Loved these!! I used olive oil instead of vegetable oil, and forgot to add the flour but it turned out fine in my opinion. Served with a bit of sour cream on the side, and it was a hit!

Oatmeal Craisin Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2008
I really liked these! I had a craving for Oatmeal raisin cookies, so I omitted the cranberries. I started making it and realized I only had one egg, so went on anyways, it turned out fine. The only change is its a bit too sweet. I will decrease the sugar next time I make these and add a few more oats.

The Best Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2008
This was the first Meatloaf I've ever made and me and my husband were so impressed!! I mixed in more steak sauce, and used cracker crumbs instead of bread crumbs. It was great! Will definitely make again
