Super Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2008
This was delicious! I also added a few things. Sliced carrots, 1 can cream of chicken soup and 1 can cream of mushroom soup. I used 3 cups of noodles and it made for a heartier soup. Thanks

Hearty Ham Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2008
I loved it but my kids are picky. We all rated it and I think it's close to five stars. I added 1/4 cup diced onions and didn't have enough ham so I cooked 6 pieces of bacon and crumbles it into it, it was delicious, thank You

Miracle Baking Powder Pie Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2008
I had the hardest time rolling this out. Maybe I did something wrong in the steps but I've made crusts for years and this kept splitting at the edges as I rolled it so I only got one pie crust out of the two it calls for.

French Bread Rolls to Die For

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2008
Very good but I'm still looking for a really fluffy type roll. Maybe I didn't knead enough, not sure. I'm new to using yeast. But I will use this again. Thanks for sharing

Easy Sour Cream Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
Could someone tell me if the reason this tastes more custardy is maybe because of the sour cream that's in it? I wasn't thrilled with it this way but it was easy and my family liked it. Thanks for sharing.

Roasted New Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2008
Very tasty and I think mine for some reason needed more oil than the 1/4 cup it called for. So next time I will use more. Make sure to turn because if I had not been checking they would have burnt on the bottom. Thanks for sharing.

Slow Cooker Barbecue Beef

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2009
First time for me making for roast beef sandwiches and Everyone loved it. I added a tbsp of teriyaki sauce, and per some of the other reviews I also added more onion and garlic. Save some of the sauce to put over the beef in the sandwiches. I used the long sandwich rolls.

Dinner in a Packet

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2009
Here's my changes to a very tasty meal. I use olive oil or melted butter with minced garlic, onion, carrots, cabbage(or any other green veg), potatoes, and chicken breast cut up into strips. Add salt and pepper. The trick is to put the potatoes on bottom of foil then add veg's and chicken and then pour the butter/garlic mixture on top. It's wonderful on the bbq or in the oven for 30 min. Thanks for sharing

Oven Brown Rice

Reviewed: May 14, 2009
Yum!! The only thing I could add is to stir around the edges halfway through because when mine was done and I stirred it and poured in bowl there were a lot of crunchy ones that got mixed in. I added 1 Tbsp. of minced fresh garlic too. But I will definately be making this for years to come. Thanks for sharing.

I didn't have almond extract so I used brandy extract and it was great. Pitted fresh bing cherries (won't work that hard again). Great Pie!!! Also, this is one of the easiest crusts I'v ever made but I'd recommend a little more salt, that's it, thanks for sharing.

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2009
The only thing I changed was to add 1 1/2 cups fresh raspberries and the 10 or so blueberries that I had on hand in the garden. But with the moisture from the raspberries I needed to bake 10 min. longer. Great!! thanks for sharing.

This was an easy recipe and reserving the liquid I thought was the key other wise mine would have been too thick. Thanks for sharing.

Zucchini Brownies

This was AWESOME!!! I did not change a thing except for 5 more minutes. When you mix it, it's dry but don't be deceived, the zucchini does moisten it. This was Excellent!!! Thank You!
