Ham and Cheese Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
I didn't have time to let it soak over night, but it was fine. I added twice the amount of eggs and it was great. It doesn't reheat in the microwave very well. I liked it, but my dad wasn't fond of the soggy cornflakes when it was reheated

Bacon Cheeseburger Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2009
My whole family loved this recipe, which is saying something because I rarely ever find anything everyone loves. This was great bc everyone could add their own personal touches. I left out the pickle, my dad added extra mustard,a dn my mom added olives.

Pumpkin Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
I made my own chicken stock last night and then wanted to finish this soup before I went to class this morning. Just a tip if using a blender, NEVER try to blend hot liquids if your blender manual says not to (I have some burns and a mess in my kitchen to remind me) I put the spices in my chicken stock so all I had to do was add the pumpkin, and since I only had 1 can of pumpkin puree I halved the recipe. I also didn't have any heavy whipping cream on hand, but noted that several reviewers said it was ok to do without it. Overall, a good recipe, but really would've been nice to get a caution on the blender

Restaurant-Style Hashbrown Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2010
I love this recipe. I just decided that I wanted to make this to go with my leftover chicken tenders, so I came home and looked it up. I, like many other reviewers omit the salt since the cream of chicken soup has enough of its own salt and add the cornflake topping. I also replace the onion with a bit of onion powder because I hate onions

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2011
I'd give the recipe 5 stars for ease and taste, but I had to make so many alterations I don't feel right giving it 4 stars. I only used 2 chicken breasts and half a can of biscuits because I was only making it for my husband and myself. Instead of 2 cans of Cream of Chicken soup, I used 1 Cream of Chicken and 1 Cream of Mushroom. I also added 1 can of chicken broth. I seasoned the mixture with spices I had on hand and cooked the chicken and soup in the slow cooker for 5 hours from frozen on Low. Then I rolled out 5 biscuits and sliced them into at least 15 pieces each added them and cooked that for 2 and a half to 3 more hours on high before the dumplings were cooked.

Wonderful Banana Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
Excellent! I followed the other reviewers suggestion and baked the cake according to the package directions, and for icing, I added a package of banana cream pudding mix to heavy whipping cream after I whipped it.
