Guacamole

Eggs Benedict Breakfast Pizza

We really enjoyed this pizza! We made it for Christmas brunch and one thing that surprised me was how heavy it is! It's definitely filling as well. I pre-cooked the crust for about three minutes but next time would do it for five minutes or so, as it was still not firm enough for our tastes. The mixture of the hollandaise sauce and the eggs, however, was ideal and we'll definitely be making it again!

Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Cookies

I've been making this recipe for years. It's not your typical chocolate chip cookie recipe in that it is much more cake-like. But that's the good thing about it! These cookies stay extremely moist for a very long time and are always a favorite whenever I make them. Here's a tip - if you don't have the time to warm up the cream cheese, keep it in the inside package and squeeze it a bit with your hands. This will get it soft enough to work with. And no, the cookies don't spread as much as some others do, but they stay much softer than regular cookies as well!

Sweet Dinner Rolls

I've tried to make rolls once before, and it was an abysmal failure. Two years after the failure I dragged out this recipe and decided to give it another shot. Wow. It was great! Everything rose like it was supposed to and the rolls cooked beautifully. My kids have devoured them and have been asking for them for snack time at school! I'm definitely extremely happy that I tried to make rolls again, as I will be making these for Thanksgiving dinner.

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Wow. Oh Wow. I've been looking for a broccoli cheese soup recipe for a long time and have always been intimidated by them - until now. I made this recipe using the double idea (double cheese, double broccoli) and even though the cheese was almost too much (I'll be doing 1 1/2 lbs of cheese next time), it was amazing. The cornstarch mixture made it thicken beautifully - perfect for a cold winter day. Makes a lot, but that's no big deal - we'll get a day or two of lunches out of it!
