Delicious! I used ground chicken breast instead of beef and it tasted great! *tip- if you shop at Publix, they have pickled ginger at the sushi counter.

German Apple Cake I

These are so good! My boyfriend couldn't get enough of them. Only thing I did differently was substitute taco seasoning for the chili powder and salt, omitted the chips, added green onion before serving.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

These cookies are amazing! The only change I made was that I used 1 cup of white sugar and 1/2 cup of brown sugar. Absolutely scrumptious! It doesn't note on the recipe whether to grease the cookie sheet or not, so I lightly sprayed it w/ Pam for baking and they came off easily. These cookies don't spread much when they bake so you can place them pretty close together. Happy Baking!

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

The recipe the way it is written, isn't very good. It's not bad tasting because it barely had any flavor at all. My boyfriend wouldn't even finish his. Definitely add extra cayenne pepper and maybe some red pepper flakes and maybe some of seasonings. Won't be making this again.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

This recipe is absolutely amazing! Do not change anything. It is perfect the way it is. I use Pillsbury Devil's Food Cake Mix because it also has pudding in the mixture and I still add the package of pudding that the recipe calls for. The first time I made the cake, I was a little concerned at how thick the batter was, but the cake came out amazing. I also top with the "Satiny Chocolate Glaze" recipe. I am required to bring this cake to work whenever it's someones birthday. Denise, thank you for such an amazing cake!
