I Love cooking, baking and I love Wine. This past year I improved my health by losing 83 pounds. This was a challenge at first when it came to cooking. However, now as I approach my goal, I have learned newer healthier ways to cook and enjoy food. Now I am an Independent Health Coach helping others find health in their lives too. Cheesy Ham Potato Bake
I have made this recipe a few times now. Honestly, it does not need the cube of butter. I dropped the butter, used plain Greek yogurt instead of sour cream, used whatever cheese I had on hand. All cheddar or a mix of pepper jack, cheddar and italian. I have also cut up and cooked bacon until crisp and used it instead of ham. This is very versatile. If you drop the butter, add a little extra greek yogurt. Maybe 1/4 cup or so. My family loves this recipe. Great for breakfast or a side dish.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
Good recipe. Nice texture. However, for me, these were way too sweet. Next time I would cut back the white sugar by at least 1/2 cup. Also, not sure what dissolving the baking soda in hot water does. I will make these again though, with less sugar.

Banana Bars
This was a very tasty recipe, though I followed some of the recommendations in the comments. I used butter instead of shortening and had 4 small very ripe bananas on hand, so used all of them. I also used brown sugar instead of white and left out the lemon juice. Also, I did not glaze or frost these. In fact, I would reduce the sugar on these next time to about 1/2 cup. I prefer things less sweet. I had to bake an additional 10 minutes to get them done all the way. Probably due to the extra bananas. Great flavor and texture.
