Shrimp Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2002
I'm not sure why this doesn't have more ratings or reviews. I found this recipe over a year ago and everyone loves this dip! Very easy to make and always tasty. Chill for a few hours for better flavor.

Cranberry Chicken I

quick, easy, and delicious! I prefer to use only 1 packet of the soup mix, low fat dressing, and the whole berry cranberry sauce.

Fruit Dip II

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2008
This was delicious and so easy to make! I didn't think it would taste so good with just the two ingredients but it was similar to cheesecake. I added a splash of vanilla but it was great without it. I made it for the 4th of July and served with strawberries and angel food cake for dipping and sprinkled blueberries on top. thanks for a great recipe!

Muffin Frittatas

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2010
Fantastic!! I made these today and will be making them again and again. I added 2 extra eggs and for the veggies, I used 3 zucchini (about 2.5 cups) and a whole onion. I used less cheese than suggested and would probably try the full cup next time to hold it all together. I also used a jumbo muffin pan so it made 6 big frittatas. I'm planning to freeze them for an easy breakfast to throw in the microwave. I was surprised so many people had trouble with these sticking to the muffin pan. I used a non-stick pan and sprayed it with cooking spray. They slipped right out and the pan was easy to clean.

Cool Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2011
Thanks for a fantastic recipe! This is going into my permanent rotation. I didn't have any peppers and had to use scallions instead of the sweet onion, but otherwise followed the recipe as written. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2012
Delicious and so easy! I have made this many times but followed the recipe as written the first time and it was great. Now I usually double the veggies to lighten it up since it has three pounds of meat & shrimp. My favorite change is to stir in uncooked rice so it soaks up all the flavor. I use 1 1/2 cups of brown rice so I increase the chicken broth to 3 cups. This still leaves the jambalaya very moist but not soupy. Thanks for a great recipe, it's a new regular dish in my house!

Corn Flake-Crusted Halibut

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2012
This was moist and flavorful. I used mahi mahi and dried dill (1/2 the amount called for) because that's what I had but otherwise used the ingredients as listed. I added the seasonings to the mayo thinking they would be more evenly distributed on the fish than if I mixed into the cornflakes. Thanks for a great recipe, I will be making this again!

Sangria by the Pros

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2009
I doubled this recipe for a party and it was good, but not great. It tasted a bit bitter to me. I used nectarines instead of the cherries and pineapple. For the liquor, I used 1/2 cup brandy & 1/4 cup triple sec insead of all brandy. I put all the fruit, brandy, and OJ in a bag in the fridge to marinate overnight. I added the wine in the morning and then the Sprite right before we served. It tasted a little bitter so I added extra OJ and an extra can of Sprite. It helped a bit but next time I'll either add sugar or leave out the lemon and lime to make it just a touch sweeter.
