Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2008
Very good! I've made them the day before and individually wrapped each roll with seran wrap and took out what I needed the following morning for breakfast. Flipping the rolls after taking them out of the oven works well to keep the middle from oozing out the bottom.

Buttery Rolls

The family loved them. They were quick and easy. I will make them again but will still look for other roll recipes.

Butternut Squash Bisque

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
Excellent!! It made a great appetizer for Thanksgiving. It will hold the crowd over until the turkey is done. I used a low sodium vegetable broth and just added a little lawry's seasoning.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

We wouldn't call it cheesecake but it was still good. Next time I will add more cream cheese to the batter.

Favorite Old Fashioned Gingerbread

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2008
***Taste great!! Unfortunately I ate most of it myself and I made it last night. I'm definetly making another one over the weekend. I doubled the spices making the flavor just right. Next time I will try adding a little applesauce.*******I tried it with applesauce and it gave it a more cake like consistency. I prefer it without the applesauce. This ginger bread is perfect with a cup of coffee.

Dill Vegetable Dip

Very good! I added a little onion like someone suggested. I left it in the fridge for a few hours. It was a hit for our New Years Eve gathering.

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
Very good and different. A twist for deviled eggs! I like this better than the traditional deviled eggs. I added a little black pepper, seasoning salt, extra mayo and used turkey bacon fried hard. It was a hit!

I make a similiar dish cooking the peas with onions, seasoning salt, pepper and smoked pork neck bones instead of ham. Serve over white or brown rice.

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2008
This wasn't the best bread machine recipe. The texture was good, but it could of used a little more of something...maybe salt. My bread did fall in the middle. There was a suggestion to add a 1/2 tsp more of salt. I guess this will help with the taste too. I'll give it a 2nd try but, still like Ron's Bread recipe better.

Caroline's Chocolate Fudge Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
I melted the butter and dark chocolate morsels in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time. Took it out and stirred. Then placed it in the microwave for another 30 seconds. All the morsels weren't completly melted but stirring a few moments will melt them. This recipe went well with Dark Chocolate Cake II from this site.

Aunt Anne's Coffee Cake

Very good. I went with half brown half white sugar on the topping. I will add more cinnamon next time on it. I added the topping in the last 15 minutes.
