Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2010
Super yummy and easy. I halved the basil per some of the other reviews, but I think I should have added what the recipe called for. It would have been fabulous...especially if you are a fan of basil. So I say stick with it like it's written and you can't go wrong. My kids loved it too. I skipped the pepper sauce in the pot , but my hubby added it to his bowl. Thanks for this recipe. I will add it to my fall/winter dinner rotation regularly!

Curried Chicken Tea Sandwiches

Reviewed: May 22, 2010
Made this for a baby shower, served in mini-croissants. It was beautiful and REALLY good. The mix of flavors can't be beat.I followed the recipe exactly, except for the pecans as the Mommy to be doesn't care for nuts and I used a rotisserie chicken. I think the pecans would have been a nice addition, but it was still fabulous without them. This will go straight in my recipe box!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2007
YUMMMMMMM!!! This is FABULOUS!! It was rather salty... and I already cut the recipe by one tsp after other reviewers said the same. Interestingly though, it was not nearly as salty (leftover) the next day... maybe it has time to mix with the noodles etc... so you may be ok with the same amount of salt if you are preparing it ahead of time. This is a an awesome recipe though, and will become my official lasagna recipe.... I also added a little extra mozz... can never have too much cheese :>)

Crab Salad

Pretty good recipe according to my hubby.I made it out of left over king crab legs from Christmas.I substituted half miracle whip.Definately needs additional mayo/miracle whip. I would cut celery seed in half next time as noted by another reviewer they were a few too many in my opinion. Hubby asked me to save recipe so it's a keeper :>)

Spaghetti Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2006
This recipe was fabulous! I omitted the pimentos and replaced with diced fresh tomatoes and I sauteed the onions and bellpepper for a few minutes. The only complaint I have is that it uses alot of dishes...but is REALLY simple. It went straight to my recipe box. It's pure comfort food.

Frogmore Stew

Fabulous and fun recipe. I followed it to a tee and it was incredible. It is SO easy.. Anyone can make this and it turn out delicious. The only thing I would change next time would be to find a way to make the potatoes soak up a little more of the flavor? This is definately going in my recipe box and will be a favorite for casual summer dinners by the pool with friends.

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2005
This dish was not the greatest for me. Maybe I didn't slice the eggplant thin enough????? I also think that the top layer should end with eggplant then sauce then cheese. When there is no sauce on top of the eggplant ( top layer) in the oven it gets really tough. Also I used Ragu which I always use for spaghetti but the whole dish was REALLY salty. So maybe if a different sauce was used? Overall I was disappointed and I followed the recipe exactly. I think this may be one of those recipes that you need to see someone make and the sauce you use is SUPER important.
