Oven-Fried Catfish

Just fixed this dish. It was very good. I did use Jiffy cornmeal mix, as that was all I had. Too sweet, wont do that again. Next time I will use cornmeal. Again this was very good and will be great following the recipe.

Sesame Rice

I usually follow a recipe the first time I make it. This one I didn't. I added more sesame seeds, a 1/4 cup and a t. sesame oil. Gave a woderul texture and flavor. 2 T. of sesame seed would probably have been enough, I just wanted to use up my sesame seeds. I cooked this on top the stove in a heavy sauce pan. Reheats well. Might add bamboo shoots next time. Will make again.

Classic Tapioca Pudding

Exciting flavors from following the recipe exactly. Next time I will add diced green serrano peppers to give more heat. Freezes and reheats well. Thank you for a great recipe.

Cowboy Bake Beans

I used 1/2 c sugar and 2 cans kidney beans, thats what I had on hand. Great flavor. Freezes and reheats well. Will make again.

Creamy Chocolate Frosting

Wow. Great chocolaty, creamy frosting. So easy. Family loved it. This recipe covered the "four egg yellow cake" from this sight in a 13x9 pan perfectly. Will use again.

Wild Rice Harvest Casserole

This dish is sooo good. My husband was drooling way before it was ready. I forgot to add the the poultry seasoning, but will use it next time. I made my own chicken broth seasoned to taste ahead of time. Doubled the mashrooms. Used wild rice only. Wonderful texture and flavor. I will have fun with this recipe by adding some vegetables or other nuts. Thank you Julianne.
