Decorator Frosting
Any Oles out there? I top the "One Bowl Brownies" with this frosting and it is as close as I can get to the "Blondies" from the caf! Good combo.

Peanut Blossoms II
Terrific! Have tried other recipes for this cookie and have been disappointed with crumbly cookies. This first go-round yielded tasty cookies with a delicate, but slightly chewy crumb. My preference is for using chocolate stars (Brachs brand), rather than kisses for the lower profile benefit of storing and packaging. Will make these again. Thanks.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili
Great chili! I doubled the recipe. Doubling this recipe made two large crock pots of chili. I cooked it yesterday, cooled overnight and re-heated today on low in the crock for dinner. Friends raved. I have made it to the letter in the past and loved it. This time, I substituted (for a double batch) 6 lbs. cubed sirloin instead of the ground chuck for tender, meaty servings and 3 lbs. ground turkey with Italian seasoning instead of the bulk Italian sausage (again, for a doubled volume). I added 3-3 ounce jars of crumbled bacon to the turkey as it browned because I like the smokey flavor of the bacon. Oh, and because of my Scandinavian family, I used only half of the chili powder (1/4 c. for a double batch). Still spicy enough, but not over the top for these native Minnesota taste buds. All other ingredients were included to the letter. Served with sour cream and shredded cheddar atop and fresh sourdough bread, this made a wonderful, hearty meal. Quite a time-intensive process, but well worth it!
