Reviewed: May 7, 2015
These cookies turned out outstanding and held up their softness through out the week. I just love them. I followed the recipe exactly and when they were cool I frosted them with vanilla frosting. These are the best. I am now making them again and same results

Very awesome only changes I made was I took some of the soup out and then added flour to make a thickener then when thick and bubbly added it back to the chowder then let it cook on low heat for another 30 min. I also added celery. Awesome chowder I will make this again.

Lemon Cake with Lemon Filling and Lemon Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
I didn't want to lower ratings so gave 5 star. I altered the recipe. I didn't want a heavy cake as was written from other reviews. I made the cake as directed except I added 1/4 cup fresh lemon and zest and 3/4 milk. I separated the eggs and only put the egg yolks in and then beat the egg whites to fold in at the end. Made lemon curd as directed as well as the frosting. The frosting is a little grainy but still taste good. (I will find another way next time for the frosting). I made this recipe my own so don't want to miss lead by saying I followed the recipe. turned out very moist and fluffy. Thankful for the idea.

Reuben Sandwich I

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2010
I made my own rye bread which made it turn out fantastic. I only gave 4 stars because I put the sauerkraut in a pan and browned it a bit and then put the sandwich together. It was the best.

Heavenly White Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
Im jumping up and down with joy finally a white cake that is light and fluffy that also taste great!!!! I looked at other reviews and went with the 1 1/2 c milk and mixed the egg whites last then folded them in. I added 2t vanilla instead of almond just because I prefer vanilla. I also didn't have time to sift and skipped that part . The cake still turned out moist and fluffy. found my reciepe and will only use this one
