Slow Cooker Chicken Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2014
This was good but it had a salty aftertaste to me. I think it was from the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth. Next time, I will make sure to buy low salt/salt free products to avoid that. One more thing, I cooked it the full four hours but the sauce was not thickening, instead it looked to be separating. Even after stirring a bit. I added a bit of flour and stirred it at times keeping my eye on it. The sauce thickened eventually.

Excellent. I omitted the ham but it came out great. I will definitely make this again.

Excellent. My son loved it and I did not even add any of the optional ingredients! He wants me to make it again.

Easy Slow Cooker Chicken Wings

Reviewed: May 27, 2014
Horrible. I cooked it just the way the recipe stated. The wings were like eating boiled chicken. The sauce was like water and did not stick to the wings. I will never try this again. My family let me know that.

Easy Chicken Cutlets with Apples

Reviewed: May 11, 2014
Very good. My son liked the apples especially. I added a little cinnamon with the apples and brown sugar. One thing I will do is make the sauce and apples, pour over the chicken and bake it for another ten minutes in the oven, for next time. Make sure your chicken cutlets are thick enough for this first, otherwise they will overcook.

Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2014
Always a hit with my son. I leave out the peas as he does not like them and add spices according to our taste. This is great in the winter to make after getting home from work. Can make ahead as well for the next night too.

Skillet Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2014
I cooked this recipe for the first time. The meatloaf fell apart in the pan but it did taste good. The bottom got burnt even though I had it on low flame. Next time, I am cooking it in the oven in a baking dish but following basic recipe. I must say, my son did like it.

Southern Chicken Fried Steak

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2014
This was good but I am having such a problem keeping the breading on the steak. It keeps falling off. I have two different ways of breading the steak and it didn't work. I found third method which hopefully will work.

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake V

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2014
It came out very good except the pineapple slices did not show on the top of the cake. I added another layer of slices to the top to make the presentation a little better.

Cowboy Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2014
Very good. My son loved it. I took the advice of others and added more barbeque sauce and it came out very well. I also used turkey bacon to make it a little more healthier. I will probably use turkey ground meat next time as well and see how that works.

This is a far better recipe than another I had tried. Came out great with mashed potatoes. My son loved it.

Chicken Fried Steak with Cream Gravy

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2014
Be careful when cooking the steak for 45 - 60 minutes. One side can be burned if you don't turn it over to ensure it is cooking evenly. I found out the hard way.

Oven Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2013
I used this recipe when first making roast potatoes. The soup mix is extremely high on salt so I stopped adding that. I now season it myself with a little garlic and oregano and cook with olive oil. I find it much healthier.
