Frozen Bananas
I've always wanted to try this. I wouldn't have thought to freeze bananas first, so thanks! I changed it up to make it easier for myself. I used 1/2 a bag of mini baking chocolate chips with 2 tablespoons of crisco shortening. Melt in microwave in 30 seconds, stir and put back in microwave for another 30 seconds at 70%. Just stir until it's all melted. I also cut the banana in quarters rather than half for a quick treat. They were frozen within an hour. FYI..definately use bananas that are still yellow and slightly green. Anything more or less will not have as pleasant a taste or texture.

Beef Stew IV
The recipe, as is, taste bland and has no beef flavor to be called "beef stew". I've never made it this way, but thought I would give it a try since the rating was so high. There must be a lot of people who have not had truly good beef stew. The one good quality was the tenderness of the beef. I will definately add beef stock as I normally would next time.

President Ford's Braised Eye Round Steak
I grew up eating this and make it for my own family now. My gravy turns out perfect every time. However, I don't use wine or consomme. I use plain old beef broth. Also, I season the flour I'm using to dredge the steaks with thyme, garlic and onion powder rather than season the steak. However I do lightly season steak with kosher salt and pepper before coating in the flour. (Kosher salt is a lot milder and won't overkill the gravy) Once steak is done take it out of the pan strain the fat out and put it back on the stove medium-low heat until it bubbles. Slowly stir in a mixture of 2 tsp flour to 1/3 cup cold water. Stir into gravy mix until thickened. Great over mashed potatos!
