Tuna Salad with Cranberries

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2008
I omit the dill and added ginger. Definitely impressed hubby when I used rye bread and romaine lettuce in a sandwich.

Lebkuchen II

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2009
I understand different areas of Germany had different recipes and I really looked forward to Christmas as that was when we got Lebkuckens from Gramma. Her recipe did not have citron! instead she used anise, molasses and hazelnut and dough was refrigerator before working. Her Lebkuchens were my favorite cookie and they were made with so much love.

Bread Pudding I

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2009
This is a wonderful recipe and of course I modified. I added cut and peeled two apples, a pear and cranraisens instead of raisens. And more spices- nutmeg, alspice, gound cloves, cinnamon. I then added a lemon drissle. So I guess I got an all frills bread pudding that everyone raved about at Thanksgiving

Holiday Green Gelatin Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
My in-laws called it green marsian food. I leave out the mayo, milk, cottage cheese and use whip topping instead. I wait for jello to soft jell and mix in small container of whip topping blending enough to see tiny chunks of jello so that it looks a bit green and white, even sometimes leaving jello in bottom undisturbed

Ham Salad II

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2013
Never made h.s before but mom did. I like to doctor stuff so I used the ham, dill pickle with dash of splenda, pepper, celery, mayo, and little bit of left over long grain wild rice. With these I did not need to add extra salt and splenda to cut back on sugar in sweet pickles. Husband loved it.
