My favorite things to cook
Pasta dishes, sauteed or roasted vegtables, any kind of desserts except piecrusts (I cna't begin to duplicate my Mom's!)

Cabbage and Corned Beef Chowder
I'll give it 4 stars since I haven't made it yet, but it sounds like 5 to me! Have the corned beef and cabbage, so can't wait to try it tonight!

Easy OREO Truffles
Have had the ingredients for days and just got around to making these! Mixed the cream cheese with the Oreos wit the cream cheese in the food processore as suggested. Woudl definately have all the balls rolled and chilled prior to dipping in the chocolate next time. They taste like truffles from a guormet chocolate shop!

Apple Walnut Salad with Cranberry Vinaigrette
I love the combination of fruit and nuts in a salad and wanted to use some apples up. Our neighbors invited us over for dinner aand said they were having pork so I thought this would be a perfect combination. It was a big hit. I forgot the onion though! Added dried cherries. Would add blue or gorgonzola cheese next time.
