My first time making pizzelles! I just gone done making this recipe and they turned out great! I omitted the anise extract & seeds, added more vanilla extract & 2 tsp of cinnamon. Thin & crisp, just like my Mom made!

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

I made a test batch of this and found it too sweet with an off taste. I let it meld overnight and it didn't help. I think it's the sugar in the stewed tomatoes. I won't be making this again

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

I made this recipe yesterday as written except I added 1/2c mini choc chips and baked them in seven mini loaf pans (11 oz batter per pan). Next time I'll use 8 mini's with 10 oz batter per pan and they would be perfect size. I'll also double up on the spices and increase choc chips to 1 cup. The breads were much better the next day!
